Edit a Submission's subject

Sometimes, the subject of a submission is not quite right. Maybe the submitter made a typo, or the subject doesn't quite reflect the content of their feedback.

With our latest update you can now edit the subject of a submission.

There's an audit trail kept, so you can see the changes that have been made.

Hide the Subject field

By default, your feedback form contains a Subject field, similar to the subject of an email message.

Sometimes, your suggestion box may be for a specific topic, which makes the Subject field unnecessary. With our latest update, you can now choose to how or hide the Subject field on a box-by-box basis.

Sort submissions

You can now sort the submissions in your suggestion box by the date they were submitted, their status, or their title.

Enhanced security for Anonymous Conversations

We've added an extra layer of security to the Anonymous Conversations feature.

Previously, when a submission was received a unique link was generated for the conversation. Whilst the link was unique and hard to guess, this meant that anyone with the link could view the conversation.

Now, when someone submits feedback, in addition to a unique link they are also given a unique security token. To access the conversation someone needs both the link and the token.

This means that even if someone else gets hold of the link, they won't be able to access the conversation without the token.

The unique link and security token are displayed to the submitter on the thank you page and, if they provided their email addres, are also sent to them in a confirmation email.

Customise the thankyou message

You can now customise the thankyou message that is displayed after a submission, so it reflects your company's tone of voice.

For even more flexibility, you can change the wording of the both the title and the body of the message, with an option to use simple formatting for the latter.

Add a logo to your box

You can now upload a logo which will be displayed on all the submission pages.

A recognizable company logo can help reassure your employees that the suggestion box is an official channel endorsed by the organization, which can increase employee trust and confidence in the platform, encouraging them to share more candid feedback.

Simplified navigation

We've added breadcrumb navigation to the top of every page.

This should make it easier to find your way around and get back to where you started.

Improved colour picker

Previously, you were limited to a small set of colours when customising the theme for your boxes. No more!

Our new colour picker lets you choose any colour in the rainbow or, if you have a specific brand colour you need to use, input it's hex code directly.

Tag submissions

You can now categorise submissions using tags, making it easier to find feedback on a common topic.

Tags can be defined for each box, so that the options are relevant to the topic of the box.

Delete suggestion boxes

Hard to believe we didn't launch with this, but you can now delete a box that you no longer need.

Deleting a box deletes everything associated with it, including submissions, replies and notes. Don't worry though - we'll always prompt you to make sure you really want to delete t!

Share suggestion boxes using QR codes

SavvyIdeas now generates a QR code when you create a new suggestion box, making it easier for employees to access the suggestion box, even if they don't have the direct link readily available. They can simply scan the code with their smartphone camera, and boom, they're there. This is especially helpful in environments where employees might not have easy access to a computer.

QR codes can be placed virtually anywhere - posters, flyers, on stickers in break rooms and common areas, or even printed pay stubs.

This expands the reach of your suggestion box, making it more visible and easier to access, and boosting participation.

Get notified when a new submission is received

You can now opt in to receiving a notification email whenever a new submission is received in any of your suggestion boxes.

Email notifications is disabled by default, but you can enable them through your Profile page.
